You gotta love it when very traditional institutions adapt technology- the US Women's Open is now on twitter and although some of the twittering is more about Wii Golf inside the tents if you like your information in small random doses then by all means go follow them.

Location: Saucon Valley Country Club’s Old Course (1922) Bethlehem, Pennsylvania (USA)
Par Yardage: Set up at 6,740 yards with par at 36-35—71.
Field: 156 players from the LPGA Tour
Purse: US$3.25 million and the champion receives US$585,000
In addition to prize money, the champion will receive a gold medal, custody of the Harton S. Semple Trophy for the ensuing year, and an exemption from qualifying for the next 10 U.S. Women’s Open Championships.
