Counterfeit Golf Clubs in China

Having played for a couple of years now, I've come to appreciate the real thing versus the counterfeit. A recent visit to Beijing's Silk market proved to be a lesson in identifying fake clubs. To the untrained eye they definitely look like the real thing, especially the shafts and grips which are probably easier to fake. But once you closely inspect the club face, especially at the neck where it joins the shaft, you'll find inferior work.

For pros, the mere weight of the clubs is a dead giveaway- the fakes are much heavier.
