And they’re off! So many big name players to follow. It’s going to be a super exciting event. Here are our passes for the four days. Play is suspended because of a lightning storm and considering that a golfer just got struck at Tanah Merah last week, everyone is being extra cautious.

So far though it’s Ian Poulter and Ernie Els who have pulled away on Day 1 of the Barclays Singapore Open 2009. Both are wanting a win badly, especially the “Big Easy” who is winless so far this year (and egads has dropped out of the Top 20 players in the world after being touted as Tiger’s biggest challenger). Padraig Harrington who has to wait because of the rain and threatening skies is similarly aching for a trophy to end the year on a good note.
