American Rookie Amanda Blumenherst has the first round lead at the ANZ Ladies Masters at the RACV Royal Pines Resort on the Gold Coast, her opening round of six under par 66 establishing a one shot lead over the defending champion, Katherine Hull.

In the exact opposite of what has been happening here in Singapore where everything is dry as a bone, it has been raining like crazy at Queensland that they had to cancel the Pro-Am event.
